Campbell is a nationally-known dietitian, author, blogger and lecturer specializing in nutrition and diabetes management. She was a diabetes educator and program manager at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA for over 19 years. Currently, Ms. Campbell is the Director of Content Development and Training at Good Measures, a provider of dietitian services. She holds degrees from Simmons College and Boston University, and is a certified diabetes educator.

Ms. Campbell has published articles for both the layperson and for professionals on various nutrition topics, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity management. She is a contributing author to Diabetes Self-Management and Walgreens’ Diabetes & You magazines, where she also serves on the editorial board, and writes a weekly blog for the Diabetes Self-Management website.

She has authored and contributed to several Joslin publications, including Staying Healthy with Diabetes: Nutrition & Meal Planning and Staying Healthy with Diabetes: Weight & Wellness. In addition, she co-authored a book entitled 16 Myths of a “Diabetic Diet”, published by the American Diabetes Association, for which she received both the Will Solimene Award of Excellence in Medical Communication and the 2000 National Health Information Award. Campbell recently received the Will Solimene Award for her article titled “Probiotics and Prebiotics: Parts of a Healthy Diet,” published in Diabetes Self-Management in 2011. Ms. Campbell developed menus for Fit Not Fat at Forty Plus, published by Rodale Press, and co-authored a book with nationally renowned fitness expert Denise Austin, entitled Eat Carbs, Lose Weight, also published by Rodale Press.

Campbell is a Health Professional Advisor for the Egg Nutrition Center, serves on the expert panel for US News’ “Best Diets,” serves on the editorial board for Nutrition411 and has been an advisor for Calorie King, America’s leading provider of calorie-centric education tools and programs.
